Q: Why use GBI when I can do this myself?

A: Trade with China can be hit - or - miss. Using an experienced intermediary company can provide you assurance that your item will be delivered correctly, and on-time. Many factories lie about their capabilities. Also, the English speaking people at the trade show may only be hired to work the trade show, and may not be available after the order is placed.

Q: How much more does GBI cost than doing it myself?

A: In many cases, GBI can actually save you money. We have an extensive number of factories that we use inside of China. Because of this, we are usually able to get better pricing than new companies can get on their own. We also have some relationships with logistics companies that can use to save you money as well.

Q: How can I be sure the items are safe?

A: If necessary, GBI can ship a sampling of the products to a number of reliable testing labs for chemical analysis. Reports can be generated that can be shared with your clients.

Q: How can GBI make products even better?

A: By communicating directly with the factories, we are able to get feedback on the client's designs. By following the factory's recommendations, we are sometimes able to get a better product for the same money.

Q: How does GBI meet shipping deadlines?

A: The staff in China is very good at optimizing shipping solutions and properly scheduling production of merchandise to meet our customers' seasonal deadlines.

Q: Why does GBI perform factory and production inspections?

A: When working with new factories, our staff performs a factory inspection to be sure that they, indeed, have the machinery, staff, expertise and quality control systems to handle the order. We are also available to check orders prior to shipping and final payment. All of this provides our clients with additional assurance that their merchandise will be delivered correctly by the deadline.

A: The keys to successful manufacturing in China is: selecting qualified factories, inspecting the factories, maintaining communication throughout production, having a quality control system in place.
